1 2 The author built an aquarium out of a wooden box and filled it with water and aquatic plants. The plants grew so much that they covered the entire water surface. The author was concerned about the state of the water, so he threw away about half of it. He also mowed the weeds near the wooden box and cleaned it up a bit. He was worried that the bottom of the wooden box was touching the soil, so he put a brick underneath it. The water was decreasing, but rather than leaking, it was more like evaporation. The author was amazed at how the aquatic plants grew so much in the sun and fresh air. He thinks it's time to add one or two killifish and see how it goes
